I had a lot of fun getting to Elkins on 219, but changed plans about using all backroads when I thought about the time it would take to get to Kentucky- and more, not wanting it to be dark driving into Tennessee after Kentucky.... (hey, dig the fancy graphics?) Besides, I had done 219 last year, twice. And anyway, once in Knoxville, I would have the Dragon (grin). I heard from JonT last year that 33 to I-79 was pretty so I took it. West Virginia slipped under my wheels in a breeze of wide roads and green trees. Vance- man, I swear, Max was with with me for a while there.
