These emergency lights
are on, the Empire State Building is DARK, Met Life has some lights,
2 on the top of the W Union Square Hotel, some stairwell lights in
an adjacent building.
I miss TV! Jon is actually playing
a movie I know over the phone, and I am telling him what will happen
next. Nothing is getting any better, the radio is not reporting ANY
progress. There's nothing left to do but go to sleep and hope it is
all better in the morning.

The trash on Union Square
was in a circle, I should have taken
a photo . The BID folks were out in their red uniforms and cleared
it all away.
God only knows where these people went to the bathroom.
I was lucky I have a second toilet.
Candle wax had gotten all over
everything last night, I spent a good deal of time cleaning that
up.
It had actually been quite cool last night, I closed the windows
to keep the cool air in and drew
the curtains. While it was still a little cool in the morning, I
opened the fridge again, just the fridge though, took some cool
water for me and Freddie, some
food. Staying clean is NOT easy! Water,
