Funniest things heard on the talkabouts- 
"I have never had this car in the rain, where are the windsheild wipers?"
  and
"Where are we going?"

"One of the best moments I had (and I had a lot!) was after I got my appointment
at the technical tent, it was so late that I almost didn't get in the photo.  
I was one of  the very last people to get in.  They directed me up that drive
to the Zentrum where everyone had already been assembled in the heat for so long. 
Everyone had been yelling on the talkabouts for me to hurry up, so they knew 
I was coming and a bunch of my new friends were on that drive and slapping hands
 with me as I passed.  I still don't know how I did that and still kept
 a hand on the wheel and shifted.... :-)"
