Lizzz writes: After years of driving the biggest SUVs (Sorry!), I finally got to downsize to a real driving machine when we did the "car trickle down", giving our youngest my husband's car, giving him my truck, and giving me... whatever I wanted! It only took one test drive to figure that out! Of course, I have my cousin Rachel's Emmy in the driveway for her baths pretty frequently, so it wasn't like I had to go looking. LiZZZ is a steel grey/black with black roof - a real departure from my Miami Vice Teal and purple truck. I only have one rule in LiZZZ - if it's over 50 degrees and I don't need the wipers on full, the top is DOWN. (Did you know that if you're going, uh, the speed limit Guess it runs in the family ;)  LiZZZ was one week old in this pic! So, aside from being Rachel's cousin, who am I? Married 24 years, 2 grown kids (yes, I occasionally let them drive her; I *try* to be a good mom), gym rat (weights, spin, dance, tae bo etc. etc. etc.) plus sea kayaking, hiking, biking... and a manager in the IT department at Boeing in Philadelphia, where we build rotorcraft. About the only time I sit "still" is in LiZZZ, which is never very still! |
